The process
My first meeting with this client was introductions, information on the process, and to understand the full scope of the work, and vision of the brand & website.
The next meeting, I presented different mood boards consisting of color, inspiration and website design inspo. Understanding the client’s preferences helps me gain a deeper insight into their brand identity.
Next, I wireframed design ideas and presented them -- this gave me insight into the structure of the website.
Once done, I presented high fidelity mock-ups including colors, logo, and structure to the client. Once approved, I moved the designs into Framer.

Develop a baseline fitness level to safely transition into specialized training, including mastering essential movement patterns, focusing on injury prevention, learning proper lifting techniques, setting and achieving training goals, and building confidence.

One to One training caters to passionate hobbyists and athletes aiming to advance their training. I offer a mix of power, strength, hypertrophy, and mobility exercises, coupled with aerobic conditioning focused on speed/power, glycolytic, and aerobic energy systems. It’s go time!

ABOUT DUNCAN PERFORMANCE
Duncan Performance was born out of the desire to bring peak physical potential to reality. That was 16 years ago. Since then it has been remolded and refined through my life’s experiences. The lens I now operate through is holistic health. We focus on the whole individual, not just the physical aspect. Body, Mind, Spirit, Social. “Why”, you might ask? “I’m just here to get stronger/faster/fit”. Because research shows what we already know intuitively. That in order for us to get the most out of your training, for it to be its most effective, the whole individual must be accounted for. Body, Mind, Spirit, Social, Environmental.
Have you ever asked yourself the question, what if I do achieve my sporting/health goals, then what? I promise, life’s questions will continue peppering you. What does it matter that you can run 23mph, play for the top program in the nation, or have the ability to hike the highest peaks? That’s truly incredible, but why are you doing it? For the admiration of others? To satisfy someone else’s expectations of yourself? To check a box that will immediately be replaced by another? What am I truly working towards?
The answers to these questions lie inside each one of us and in order to discover the answers we must journey inward. Duncan Performance is designed to develop and sharpen the life tools necessary to navigate this complex world while working towards answering these critical life questions.
So, do you have the courage to look inward? To put yourself at the edge of your comfort zone and stare directly into the raging fire that reflects back to you “what are you willing to do in order to become the person you know yourself to truly be?”. Can you feel the heat?

“Duncan”
Hey. I'm Nicolas Duncan. I’m a seasoned coach with expertise in strength and speed training, health coaching, and collegiate athletics. My journey in sports performance began at Westminster University as a soccer player and evolved into coaching roles at the University of Utah, University of California San Diego, and Westminster University. My experience spans from guiding elite athletes in achieving peak performance to assisting general individuals in overall well-being.
At Duncan Performance, I apply this diverse background to create personalized strategies for youth, high school, hobbyists, and elite athletes, addressing the unique challenges of each stage. Whether it's enhancing athletic skills or improving health, my goal is to guide each individual on their path to excellence. Personal learnings
This project further developed my skills in Framer - after completing this project I feel very confident working in this platform.
I also had a better understanding of the design process, knowing and maintating boundaries while still building a solid relationship with this client.
This project took a while, but it felt smooth, clean and I felt confident in this project!
Duncan Peformance is still live and so far we have received positive feedback on the webiste! I am excited to see what is next for Duncan Performance!
